For most of my shots I use a
Lomogrpahy camera, the Color Splash. I enjoy using found objects for many
of my subjects. I often walk around town, in search of mysterious hidden away
places to photograph. I think it's interesting how a city can be so busy and
over grown with people and their every day tediousness that there can be so
much they had no idea existed.
Older buildings often find a way of catching my eye. There is just something
about an abandon factory, they stare at me, and wait for me to notice before
they scream hello. They often remind me of the elderly. In their youth they
can do so much for those around them. They serve their purpose well, but as
the years pass the scars begin to show. They can't function as well as they
once did. Time forgets and so do the people. They no longer care to look
anymore. But I guess I do.
