Yellow Brick Road
by Cory Carr

I've grown accustomed to the pain that fallows closely with this emotion. An emotion so vacant as this shouldn't be delt with alone. Lend me your pain. I will carry it for you as you guide me down your path. With out it I don't think that I could feel. Lend me your pain as we walk. Hand and hand as my back buckles. Pay no mind to blisters and bruzes. It comes with the territory. Lend me your pain, I'll use it to buy a smile for you to wear on our journey down the yellow brick road.
